Gratitude Garland

Decorative Garland

Cut paper into leaf, heart, flower, or other simple shapes. Each day, write down one thing you are thankful for. It could be something meaningful, something ordinary, or simply one small moment that made the day better.

Punch a hole in each piece and string them together to create a gratitude garland for a window, doorway, or quiet corner of your home. You could also add the pieces to your journal, collect them in a jar, or bind them together to make a small gratitude book.

This is a lovely project to do alone, with grandchildren, or with a group. Over time, those little pieces of paper become a gentle reminder of how much there is to appreciate.

Supplies: Paper or cardstock, scissors, markers or pens, a hole punch, and string or ribbon.
